The Barrett Group has been a leader in South Florida real estate for over a decade.

 

While the Barrett Group helps all types of buyers and sellers, our team started out by helping people that most realtors left behind.

 

Back in 2010, when our company was founded, Andre Barrett felt that the real estate industry was failing potential first-time homeowners. There was no care, no nurturing for hopeful homeowners who weren’t quite ready to buy, or required some assistance securing a down payment or covering closing costs. All too often, agents—dead-set on earning a commission on day one—steered clear of these buyers.

 

We also wanted to assist homeowners who were down on their luck and facing foreclosure. 2010 was a challenging year for almost everybody, and many homeowners required expert assistance dealing with their banks, negotiating short sales and modifying their loans.

 

From its onset, the Barrett Group has set out to fill a need. Today, we specialize in walking clients through every little aspect of buying or selling a home, whether they’re ready to make a move today or are still several years from now.

 

In an industry where most agents are looking for an instant commission, our willingness to provide top-notch, no-pressure care, service and information to anyone who needs it sets our team apart. Not everyone is ready to buy a house today, but we know these people may still need lots of help from a realtor.

 

We offer first-time home buyer classes, no-pressure new construction tours and many other services all designed to make homeownership (and the buying process!) easier for our clients. From the tri-county area to the Space Coast, it’s our pleasure to show clients what’s on the market all over South Florida.

 

Our team handles about $20 million in sales each year—about 45 to 65 transactions a year. Every client, regardless of their budget, receives our utmost attention. Our team focuses on the fine details of every transaction, managing each important date, each clause in the contract. We do the hard work for our clients, and make the process as fun and stress-free as possible. After all, that’s our job.
